You are able to sync your Google Calendar with your AccuLynx Calendar to better the chances of never missing an Appointment. This sync only works with a Gmail account or an email hosted by Google. For example, your Company email may be JohnSmith@thebestroofing.com, however the company uses Gmail to host their emails.
1. To begin the sync of the Calendars, you will need to access your Edit Profile page by clicking on your name in the top right hand corner of your screen then clicking on Edit Profile.
*Please note, your screen may appear differently than the screenshot above, based upon your Role within AccuLynx.
2. In the Profile Settings click on Calendar.
3. Then you'll click Add Calendar.
This page will appear, asking if AccuLynx can have access to these feature.
4. Click on “Allow” to continue with the sync.
5. After returning into AccuLynx, click the drop down and select the Google Calendar you wish to sync. There could be more than one choice, so select the Google Calendar you wish to have associated with your current Location's AccuLynx Calendar.
After you've selected a Google Calendar, you will then want to choose whether or not the sync will work both ways. This means, do you want AccuLynx to pull over your Events from Google and do you want Google to pull over your Events from AccuLynx.
6. You can find these options by clicking the three dots located next to your drop down.
7. After your changes have been made, make sure to click the save button at the bottom of your screen.
Your Calendar sync is now complete.
If you wish to remove the sync, please select the trash can located on the right of the Location.
**Please note that any Appointment made prior to the sync will not be shown on the Calendar that was synced with, i.e. Appointments made in AccuLynx will not show up in Google and vice versa. To get them to show up, you must go into the Appointment and edit it (add a period into the Notes Field), then Save. This will notify the sync that a change has been made and it will update.
