Summary:
This article will cover the different ways to update your AccuLynx login password.
Requirements:
Either having the ability to log in directly as the User you are changing the Password for, or the ability to get emails at the email address associated with the AccuLynx User Account.
How To:
1. After logging in as the User you want to update the Password for, click on the Username and gear icon in the upper right corner, and select Edit Profile.
2. Select Settings on the left side of the page.
3. Click the Edit button in the Password section.
4. Type in your Current Password. Enter in a New Password. Try to be tricky!
Minimum Password Requirements include:
- 8 characters
- 1 uppercase letter
- 1 lowercase letter
- 1 number
- 1 symbol
Repeat your New Password in the Confirm Password field. What you enter into Confirm Password must match EXACTLY to your New Password.
If you make a mistake, you will see an error message letting you know (text is in red). Once the Passwords match in the New Password and Confirm Password fields, the Save button will turn dark blue. Clicking on the Eye icon will show you your Password, so you can see where you made the mistake.
**If you have forgotten your Current Password, you can use the Forgot Password link on the sign-in page.**
1. From the Sign In page, choose Forgot Password?.
2. Enter in the current Login Email Address for the email you wish to reset a Password for. An email will be sent to that Email Address asking you to enter a New Password.
3. Open the Email. Inside of the Email, select the Reset Password button.
4. Enter in a New Password, confirm the Password, and select Reset Password. The same Password Requirements apply here.
If you make a mistake, you will see an error message letting you know (text is in red). Once the Passwords match in the New Password and Confirm Password fields, the Save button will turn dark blue. Clicking on the Eye icon will show you your Password, so you can see where you made the mistake.
If you remember your Old Password at any point before hitting Reset Password, you can choose Nevermind, I remember my password to be taken back to the Sign In page and voiding out the Password Reset process.
