This feature will allow you to create Pre-Commissions, Commissions, & Additional Commissions. Enabling this feature will also give you a Payroll feature allowing you to track Commissions payments made to your Employees.

Note: Commissions and the Tracking feature requires the Elite version of AccuLynx.
1. Click on Market at the top of AccuLynx.
2. Click on Add-Ons from the drop down.
3. Scroll down until you see the AccuLynx Commissions and select it.
4. All information about the Commissions add on will be available on this screen, feel free to read through it, but when ready to enable, click Manage
Pre-Commission Settings

DO YOU PAY PRE-COMMISSIONS?
If your Organization pays Pre-Commissions (also known as Front-End Commissions), select Yes. (If you select No, then skip to the Commission Settings). -
PRE-COMMISSIONS SETTINGS
Remember, these settings ONLY apply to the Commission you pay up front, when the Job is turned in, before the Job is Completed.- If you pay a flat rate up front for each Job turned in regardless of size or down payment, select the first option, and enter the dollar amount in the field to the right.
- If you pay based on a percentage of the Contract’s value, select the second option, and enter the percentage rate in the field to the right.
- If you pay a percentage of the down payment received for a Job, select the third option, and enter the percentage rate in the field to the right.

WHO CAN REQUEST PRE-COMMISSIONS?
This section allows you to create Permission Settings telling AccuLynx WHO in your organization can request Pre-Commissions.
The Sales Role is always allowed to request Pre-Commissions, but it is up to you to decide if you want any other Role to be able to request them on behalf of the Sales Rep.
Note: This is determined by User-Role, so ANYONE with the selected Role will be able to perform this action.
The following sections deal with Commissions and Additional Commissions. They do not require Pre-Commissions to be paid in order for you to use them.
Commission Settings
WHEN IS A COMMISSION READY TO REQUEST?
This section allows you to set which criteria must be met before a Commission Request can be Submitted.
- If any of these criteria have not been met, your Sales Reps will not be able to request to be paid.
- Job Status refers to the AccuLynx Job steps that EVERY Job progresses through.
- At which Job step will you allow your Sales Rep to ask to be paid?
- When the Job is Approved by the office/management staff?
- When your Production Manager indicates that all work has been Completed?
- When your accounting/billing department has indicated that a bill has been sent out?
- Do you require that the Balance on the Job be $0 before a Commission can be Requested? If so, select Yes, otherwise, select No.
COMMISSION BASIS
Select how your Organization pays Commissions. Is it based on Gross Profit or the Total Sale Amount?
COMMISSION RATE FORMAT
Specify whether you use Job Profit, or calculate based on the Sales Rep.
COMMISSIONS BASED ON SALESPERSON
If you chose Commission Rate format by Salesperson, please enter the percentages you wish you use here.

WHO CAN SEE COMMISSIONS CALCULATED ON NET PROFIT?
Set Permissions for who is able to view the Commissions that are payable on a Job calculated by Net Profit. Any Role that you select will be able to see this information. -
WHO CAN SEE JOB COMMISSIONS?
Select which User Roles have the ability to see how much is payable in Commissions on a given Job. -
IS THERE A COMPANY MINIMUM PROFIT?
Does your Company require that a Job meets a certain Profit Level be met before Commissions are paid out? This can be based on either percentage or flat amount, and is selected through the drop down menu next to "Type". Regardless of your selection, enter the appropriate amount or percentage in the "Amount" field. -
COMMISSION DISCLAIMER
Any legal terms and conditions, signature line(s) or wordage that you wish to include in the Commissions once requested and printed can be put in the blank text box shown. -
ARE ADDITIONAL COMMISSIONS PAID?
Does your Organization allow for additional parties to be paid Commissions on a Job besides the main Sales Rep? This could be for Jobs that are split between multiple parties, or perhaps a Canvasser is paid for the Leads that develop into Jobs. Select Yes or No accordingly. If the answer is No, skip ahead to step 9, otherwise continue to the next section. -
HOW ARE ADDITIONAL COMMISSIONS PAID?
Select the basis on which any Additional Commissions are paid. -
ADDITIONAL COMMISSION PERCENTAGES
This field allows you to create percentages on which any ADDITIONAL Commissions are paid. Whether your Organization has numerous, or only one pay structure for Additional Commissions, enter the percentages on which they are paid. -
WHO CAN SEE ADDITIONAL COMMISSIONS?
Select which User Roles are authorized to view any Additional Commissions that apply to a given Job. -
ARE MANAGEMENT COMMISSIONS PAID?
If Yes, then continue with Steps 10, 11, and 12. If No, then choose the Save option at the bottom. -
HOW ARE MANAGEMENT COMMISSIONS PAID?
Please choose between Gross Profit, Net Profit, or Total Sales. -
MANAGEMENT COMMISSION PERCENTAGES
You have the ability to add Commission percentages that Management receives for each Job. Enter the amount(s) that are applicable. -
WHO CAN SEE MANAGEMENT COMMISSIONS?
Select the Role(s) that you wish to see the Commissions that Management will be receiving.
