Storm Analysis Providers

This feature allows you to connect an existing Storm Analysis Provider account and import swath files. You can then select these files as an overlay on the Jobs List Map feature to display Jobs in your AccuLynx in reference to a storm.

Requires Location or Administrator Role to access this area. Requires an Active Storm Account with either Weather Fusion or HailSWATH. Any Billing is handled by the Storm Analysis Providers.

How to Enable Storm Analysis Providers:

Go to Market, and click on Add-ons

Once within the Add Ons page, scroll down until you find the Storm Analysis category. 

Click on the Storm Analysis Providers tile, and then you will click in the bottom right hand corner to enable.

Check the box for "I have a Storm Analysis account and I want to view my swath files in AccuLynx." Then click “Save” at the bottom of the page.

Select either HailSwath or Weather Fusion. Enter in your Username and Password. If you are using a HailSWATH account, please follow this link to finish your setup.

As long as you have ordered some from the website you are linked with, you can select Add Swath Files to start importing them.

Your Swath Files will appear beneath.

Use the delete button to the right of a Swath File to delete this file. If you would like to permanently remove this Swath from appearing, please visit the website of the Storm Analysis Provider you got the Swath from and remove it there.

To remove all the files from the list, please use the Clear Swath Files button. Note: This will not permanently delete these Files, just remove them from AccuLynx. If you did not delete these from the website you ordered them from, the next time you choose Add Swath Files, they will appear again.

You can preview a Swath File by clicking the blue raindrop with the green arrow. The preview will appear in the map on the right.

You can choose the Roles that can use the Swath Maps beneath the preview Map on the right. This will grant specific Roles the ability to use the Swath Maps as described in steps above

Click the Save button at the bottom, after you have made any changes.

To use these for your Jobs, hover over the Jobs menu and choose a Milestone.

Use any Filters you need on the left and select at least one Job.

Click the Map on the right side and choose the Storm Analysis menu.

Use the Swath menu on the left of this area and choose which Swath Map you would like to use as an overlay. You can only select one Swath Map at a time.
