You can create more than one Job for an existing Customer/Contact. This will link their Jobs together, so you can view every Job for that Customer on their Contact page.
Lead Form
When filling out the lead form, if any information matches a job or contact already in the system you will see an orange drop down that says “possible matches”
- Once you select “show” it will expand the list of possible match results. Any entry with a milestone on it is a job file and an entry with the book icon is a contact.
- If you create a new job from a job file, it will automatically use that job's address for the new lead's job location address. This is a good option for repeat work at the same address.
- If you create a new job from a contact, it will allow you to fill out a new job location address, but it will still tie it to that contact.
Contact Page
You can also add in a new job to an existing contact by going to the contact page
1. First go your contact list
2. Then select the contact you want to add the job to this will bring you to their contact page
3. Now, In the upper right hand corner click “New Lead”. This will bring you to the lead form with First name, Last name, and any other contact information filled out already for you (if it's filled out on the contact page).
Job Overview Page
- To add a new job from the Job Overview screen, select the contact name
- In the upper right hand corner click “New Lead”. This will bring you to the lead form with First name, Last name, and any other contact information filled out already for you (if it's filled out on the contact page).
Job List Page
- To get to the Job List page, simply click on a Milestone on the Pipeline
- Clicking on the white space of a job card will show an overview on the right hand side. On the overview there is an option for “Create a new job for “, this will add in a new lead for that job contact.
