Summary:
As you may or may not know, Internet Browsers store content locally in attempts to make Web Pages load faster the next time that page is visited or in attempts to gather data from Users when they visit a Website.
For example; Amazon stores data in a Cookie for items you have viewed or purchased so that the next time you visit they can bring similar items to your attention.
The AccuLynx System can be affected by the storing of old information.
How To:
Clearing Cookies and Cache on PC:

Chrome
- On your computer, open Chrome.
- At the top right, click the three dot menu.
- Click delete browsing data
- At the top, choose a time range. To delete everything, select All time.
- Next to Cookies and other site data and Cached images and files, check the boxes.
- Click Clear data.

Safari
- Click the Safari menu, then Clear History...
- In the Clear field choose All History
- Click Clear History.

Firefox
- From the History menu, select Clear Recent History.
- If the menu bar is hidden, press Alt to make it visible.
- From the Time range to clear: drop-down menu, select the desired range; to clear your entire cache, select Everything.
- Next to Details, click the down arrow to choose which elements of the history to clear; to clear your entire cache, select all items.
- Click Clear Now.
Clearing Cookies and Cache on Mobile:

Android General
- Go to Settings and choose Apps or Application Manager.
- Swipe to the All tab.
- In the list of installed apps, find and tap your web browser. Tap Clear Data and then Clear Cache.

Chrome for Android
- Tap Chrome Menu then Settings.
- Tap (Advanced) Privacy.
- From the Time Range drop-down menu, select All Time.
- Check Cookies and Site data and Cached Images and Files.
- Tap Clear data.

Safari for iOS (Apple)
- Open your Settings app.
- Tap Safari.
- Tap Clear History and Website Data and confirm.

Chrome for iOS (Apple)
- Tap Chrome Menu then Settings.
- Tap Privacy.
- Tap Clear Browsing Data.
- Choose the data type you want to clear.
- Tap Clear Browsing Data.
Notes:
- In most cases clearing the Cache is the only thing needed. However, if a Cookie has become corrupt it may cause issues with logging into the System.
- As a User, you may not want to delete other items that are stored by the Browser like; stored passwords, browsing history, etc.
- *Once you have finished the steps listed for your device, close all windows and tabs you have open to ensure these settings have been applied.*
