We can now log a call directly on your mobile device, whether you place the call from a Job or a Contact.
Logging a Call to a Contact
You can dial a phone number by tapping one of the phone icons on the Contact from within the AccuLynx Field App.
When your call is finished, you will be given the option to log your call, do it later, or not see the call logging prompt again.
Tapping “yes” will bring up the “New Call Log” screen with the call data automatically included. You can then type or use speech-to-text to record a note about the call quickly.
After the Call Log has been completed, it will appear in the Logs section of the Contact.
Logging a Call from a Job
Dial a phone number by tapping one of the phone icons for a Contact on a Job from within the AccuLynx Field App.
Tapping “yes” will bring up the “New Call Log” screen with the call data automatically included. You can then type or use speech-to-text to record a note about the call quickly.
When you save the Call Log, it will be posted as a Job Message in Job Communications, so your team can easily see it.
Completing a Call Log Later
When you save your calls for later by having previously tapped “Save for Later,” those call records can be found in the “Log a Recent Call?” dashboard widget. Tap a call record to create a log for that call.
