Job Communications

As a part of our 2024 Fall Update, we have released a number of new features and enhancements to AccuLynx. These release notes cover the following features:

• Replace job messages with new job communications page
• Added a content creation and design tool to SmarterDocs
• Added the ability to replace multiple pages of a SmarterDoc at one time
• Added the ability to send SmarterDoc packets and presentations by text
• Added the ability for all user roles to run multi-location reports
• Added a report glossary of the various data points available through our reporting tools
• Added a Custom Workflow report for historical reporting of Job Statuses

Job Communications

Updated Interface and Design

Job communications introduces a brand new inbox style interface. This new interface makes it easier to find important communication items, and always keeps the most recent messages at the top of the inbox.

New search and filtering capabilities

Improved search highlights key search terms to help users quickly find important information. New filters like “Sent To” and “Has Attachments” make finding important information easier.

Customizable Message Tags

Previously topics, now custom tags, allow users to categorize threads for easy filtering. Custom tags can be set by administrators in Account Settings-->Job File Settings-->Communication Tags. Message threads can now have multiple tags applied to them, which can be edited, even after the message is posted.

Improved Notification System

An improved notification system adds the ability to @mention other users to quickly add them to a message thread. Users can now mute notifications in a thread that they no longer feel they need to be notified on, to cut down noise.

Users can edit and delete job messages they create. Administrators can edit and delete any job message. A full history of the message will always be retained and can be exported from AccuLynx upon request.

Message Pinning

Users can now pin important messages. Any user can pin and unpin a message. Pinned messages are viewable by all users that have permission to see that message thread.

Drag and Drop

Users can now drag and drop files, documents, and photos onto the page, to quickly share attachments.
