Content and Design Tool
Note: This feature is only available to accounts with the SmarterDocs add-on enabled
The new Content and Design tool allows users to create their own documents and forms within AccuLynx and then configure them with Smart Fields, if needed.
To find this feature, select “Create Smart(er)Doc” from the Company Documents page, enter a title and folder location, and then select “Design Page” from the Smarts Drawer.
There, you can add shapes, images, text boxes, and other objects to create a document. Once saved, you can use it as you would any other PDF in your Company Documents library.
Replace Multiple Page Smart(er)Docs
Users can now replace or update a multi-page Smart(er)Doc with another one rather than only a single page at a time. In order to do this, the pages you want to update must be grouped on the Smarts Drawer. On the group menu, you can find an option to “Replace Group PDF”. Select or upload the replacement document, and then choose which pages you want to update and drag them to a new location if needed.
Send Packets and Presentations by Text
Note: This feature is only available to accounts with both the Smart(er)Docs and Texting add-on enabled
Users can now send Smart(er)Docs packets and presentations by text. On the screen to send a packet or presentation, there is now a checkbox to send it by text instead. By default, this will send a link in a standalone text message, but if you want to include a personal note, you can do so by checking the “Send Additional Message” box.
