HomeAdvisor Setup

If you use HomeAdvisor to provide Leads for your business, you can now integrate with AccuLynx and have your HomeAdvisor Leads flow directly into AccuLynx as Unassigned Leads every 5 minutes throughout the day.

You can add HomeAdvisor as a Lead Source within your AccuLynx Account Settings for easy identification of these imported Leads. All you need to do is enable the HomeAdvisor Add-On within AccuLynx and provide a few details to HomeAdvisor.

If your company has more than one location, each location will need to enable the HomeAdvisor Add-on, as each location will receive a unique API Key.

NOTE: Setting this integration up requires the AccuLynx user to have Location or Company Administrator access. You will also need an active HomeAdvisor account.

1. Go to the Account Settings > Add-On Features and Integrations page and click the Enable button of the HomeAdvisor Add-On.

2. Check the box at the top to enable this Integration and generate an API Key.

3. Enter your HomeAdvisor Account Number in the Account Number field.  The next steps will then appear, once your account number is entered.

4. Click the Email HomeAdvisor button and your email client should automatically open with a pre-populated email containing the required setup details.

5. Click Send and this Enable Request Email will be sent to the designated HomeAdvisor recipient with the provided subject line as a notification for HomeAdvisor to complete their steps.

6. Skip to Step 7, unless your email client did NOT automatically open once you clicked the Email HomeAdvisor button with the pre-populated email as mentioned above. Then, follow these steps:

• Manually create a new email
• Send email to this HomeAdvisor recipient:crmintegrations@homeadvisor.com
• Enter this as your Subject Line: Enable AccuLynx Integration
• Click the Copy Text for Email button and paste those details into the body of your email
• Click Send for HomeAdvisor to receive your email

7. HomeAdvisor should then respond back to your Enable Email Request to confirm their setup steps have been completed, indicating your HomeAdvisor Leads should start importing directly into AccuLynx.

8. Select a Lead Source if you would like to easily identify the HomeAdvisor imported Unassigned Leads, then click Save.

9. If No Lead Source is selected, the Unassigned Leads will import into AccuLynx with a Lead Source of N/A.

10. If you do not have a custom “HomeAdvisor” Lead Source, click the create one now link in the Settings box to go directly to the Account Settings > Manage Lead/Contacts > Lead Source page.

Notes:

1. If you would like to view the AccuLynx Create HomeAdvisor Lead request details, click the link below to view all available and required fields. The right side of the page shows the AccuLynx endpoint you will post requests to and how a sample request should be formatted.

2. If you should need to provide this unique HomeAdvisor API Key again, it can be found in the Settings box at the very bottom of the page. Click the Copy Key button and paste where desired.
