Summary:
The Checklist Manager lets you create, manage and edit Checklists. These lists can be attached to Labor Tickets to be shared with your Subcontractors and Crews. These can also be shared with other locations, if you have the Elite Version of AccuLynx and have more than one Location setup.
Checklists are used on Labor Tickets, where they help ensure that your Crews are aware of, and completing, a specific list of required actions before they should consider a Job finished.
Requirements:
You must be either a Manager role or Administrative Role user in order to access this feature.
Requires the Elite Version of AccuLynx to access the Copy to Another Location feature.
How To:
You can find the Checklist Manager under Tools.
Creating a Checklist
Click the Create Checklist button at the top right, or choose + Create Checklist at the bottom.
A Checklist Name is required - we suggest you choose something simple, but descriptive.
(E.g. "Before you start")
Add the checklist item(s). This is done by clicking + Line Item and entering in the text for the first step.
A new blank + Line Item automatically appears below your current step, so you can quickly add additional steps to the Checklist. Press Tab or Enter/Return to navigate to the new Line Item row.
When your Checklist is finished, click Save at the bottom.
Editing a Checklist
By clicking the three blue dots on the right of a Checklist, the following options will become available:
Edit/View Checklist:
Opens the Edit Checklist modal. Allows you to add more steps, edit the order of the steps, rename a step, or remove a step.
Reordering Checklist Steps
If you’re not happy with the order of the steps on your Checklist, you can reorder them. Click on the grey stacked squares at the left edge of the step, then, drag and drop the step up or down the list to the desired position.
Removing Checklist Steps
To Delete a step from the list, click the “X” on the right side of each individual step. The step will be removed from the list.
Copying a Checklist:
Creates an exact duplicate of the Checklist and places the word “Copy” in the Checklist Name to distinguish it from the original.
Copying a Checklist to Another Location:
If you use the Elite version of AccuLynx, and have multiple Locations, you will be able to Copy a Checklist to Another Location. This places an exact duplicate of the Checklist into the Checklist Manager of the selected Location(s). During the copy, you can give the new Checklists a different Checklist Name.
Delete a Checklist:
Deleting a Checklist removes it from this list. This will not affect any Labor Tickets where the Checklist had been previously added. Doing this will make the Checklist unavailable to be added to future Labor Tickets.
Notes:
- Checklist Names are used as a menu selection on Labor Tickets. Be sure to name the checklists something descriptive so you know which one you are picking!
- Edits to a Checklist do not affect any Labor Tickets where the Checklist was previously added. If they are added to future Labor Tickets, your new edits will be included.
