In an attempt to cut down on the number of spam and phishing text messages, cellular carriers (AT&T, Verizon, etc) require all organizations sending text messages out of AccuLynx to have a registered business profile with cell carriers.
Registration includes information about your organization including:
- Business Type
- Tax ID Type
- Tax ID
- Company Name
- Address
- Point of Contact (Name, Phone Number, and Email)
- Valid Company Website URL
First, click the "Update Now" button in the bottom right hand corner of the Text Messaging alert found on the top of your dashboard screen.
Upon entering the Texting Add On page, scroll to the bottom of the page and select "Update Registration"
Next, select your company's business type & click "Continue"
Now, fill out the Business Information form & click "Continue"
-Any fields with a red * are required to be filled out
-Website URL must be an active company website that can validate your company's existence
Additional Notes:
Upon submitting your company information, government regulators will review your provided information and the texting status will show as "Pending". The review of your provided information will take up to 7 business days before your texting status is updated to "Pending" or "Approved".
While cellular carriers will never contact you directly, the point of contact phone number you provide must be able to receive text messages. In addition, carrier regulations require each location to provide a unique point of contact. If you try using the same contact phone number or email more than once, an error message will be displayed.
Once you provide your contact information and enable the text messaging add on, AccuLynx will take care of the rest of the registration process for you. You can begin sending text messages right away. If there are any issues with the registration process, AccuLynx will work with you to resolve those issues.
Failure to register a business profile will prevent the use of the Texting Add On until the registration is completed and approved.
Please contact AccuLynx Support with any questions.
