Leads can be entered into AccuLynx as Unassigned, however tasks such as creating Estimates, Orders, and more cannot be done until the Lead has been assigned to an AccuLynx user.
From the Lead Form:
1. The first option is by selecting "Assign To" at the bottom of the Lead Form and selecting an AccuLynx user from the "Assign To" drop down menu. If you'd like to filter the drop down list by user role, you can choose the box next to the role.
2. The next option is by using Smart Assign. This allows you to see your top sales people by closing percentage, along with how many jobs they have closed in the last 30 and 90 days.
3. The last option is Map Assign, allowing you to see other jobs in the area and assign the lead to the closest sales person geographically, based on other jobs being worked on.
Distribute A Lead
There is also an option to Distribute the lead, which can be used if you have someone entering the leads, but you don’t want them to be the one to assign the lead. You are able to distribute the lead to whomever would be responsible for assigning the lead in the future.
Schedule An Initial Appointment
Once the lead has been assigned to an AccuLynx user, you can schedule an Initial Appointment for them to meet with the customer. To do this, click on the date for the appointment, and select the time boxes to set the appointment time.
Once scheduled, the appointment will be visible on the grey bar in orange, while other appointments on the user's calendar will be visible in blue. This allows you to see at a glance, whether the user is free to meet with the lead at that specific day and time
