How to Add AccuLynx as a Shortcut on Your Mobile Device or Tablet

Summary: 

Adding AccuLynx as a shortcut on your phone or tablet allows you to quickly open AccuLynx in Google Chrome. From there, you’re able to use AccuLynx to its fullest capacity.

 Note: You need to have Google Chrome downloaded on your device for the shortcut to work.

Apple Devices 

1. 1. Click on the Shortcut app on your iPhone/iPad.

1. 2. Click on the plus sign in the upper right corner to add a shortcut.

1. 3. Select Chrome

1. 4. Type in “my.acculynx.com” and click the box with the up arrow

1. 5. Type in ‘AccuLynx’ for the name of the shortcut and select an Icon. You can choose a color and a new picture (glyph) for the shortcut that will appear on your screen. 
   6. Then click ‘Add’ in the upper right corner.

The shortcut will now appear on one of your screens as an app

Then you’ll be able to use AccuLynx on your device. It will look a bit different because the screen is smaller.

Note: Every time you click on the AccuLynx shortcut, it will open a new tab in Chrome. 

Android Devices

1. Go to the Chrome app, and go to ‘my.acculynx.com.’ Then click on the three-dot menu to view action items (this might look different than the pictures depending on the Android device you have).

2. Scroll down to click ‘Add to Home Screen.

3. Select “Create Short Cut: Short Cuts Open in Chrome”  

1. 4. Then click “Add”

1. 5. Click “Add” again 

Now it will look like an app on your phone, and when you click on it, it will open AccuLynx in the browser.

Note: If the browser app is open in the background, it will go back to that tab. If the browser app is not in the background, it will open AccuLynx in a new tab.
