Inviting a Subcontractor to the Mobile Crew App

Summary:

Adding your Subcontractors to the Crew App will allow the Crew to be scheduled to labor tickets.  The crews using the Mobile Crew App will receive the Labor Ticket information directly to their App on their cellular phone.  Within the Crew App the Crew can view and share back Messages and Photos, view any shared documents, view the details of the Labor Ticket, complete any shared Checklists, and Check-in on the jobsite.  When finished your crew can click to notify you of the Completion of their Order.

How To:

Note: You must be logged in as a Location or Company Administrator to Invite a Sub-Contractor to use the Crew App.

1. Click on Tools

2. Click on Labor Manager

3. Click on Add Subcontractor on the top right

4. On the screen you will input the Subcontractor's information.  Make sure to include a valid cell phone number.

If the subcontractor is an AccuLynx regular user you will choose the radio button on the top to Use an Existing AccuLynx User.  You will then select them from the drop down shown below.  Note: This user must have a valid cell phone number in their User Profile.

5. Once added, you will find the Subcontractor within your list.

6. Click on the Blue Invite to Mobile Crew App text.

7. Set your Subcontractor's Permissions and how long the data remains in the crew app.  If there is an additional charge for the crew it will be noted on this screen.

Note: Once a crew designates Labor is completed on the work does not automatically update the Labor Order status to Completed in AccuLynx.  You must verify work is completed to your satisfaction and then mark the Labor Order Complete on the AccuLynx side to trigger the counting to start for the duration of time that you set here.

8. The Subcontractor will now show Pending on your page until your Crew App user accepts the invitation.

Once your Subcontractor accepts your invite you will see their shared Crews within here.  These crews can then be scheduled to Labor Orders and Tickets.
